The carvings on the knights is quite extraordinary. They have a beautiful mane and an expressive snout. It required carving skills of the highest order, something only our master carvers could achieve after decades of experience carving these chessmen. Each piece is lovingly hand-carved and hand-turned by experienced master artisans and is destined to be highly durable and give decades of joy to its proud owners.

The cloth is soft and prevents any damage to the chess pieces. Also the trays have been crafted so that they are able to store chessmen of varying heights and base diameters.
